Rocky Mountain Roasting Co. was founded by Hal and Cristina Berg in 1992, in downtown Bozeman, Montana. The area is surrounded by some of the most spectacular mountain ranges in the Rockies, and is home to a wide variety of unmatched coffees. Wheat farmers, ranchers, world-class skiers, climbers, college students, serious coffee drinkers, and various eccentrics all call this majestic area home.
From the very beginnings of our coffee enterprise, owners Hal and Cristina had the goal of roasting and offering the best coffee possible for our hometown neighbors. Equipped with a 12-kilo PROBAT® roaster, we spent many hours selecting, roasting, and blending choice beans from around the world. Our 12-kilo and 45-kilo roasters have now been joined by a 25-kilo machine. These machines allow us to proudly supply a variety of gourmet roasts and blends to customers throughout the region. We experimented with a variety of coffees to satisfy a wide range of tastes.
Aged To Perfection
With a heavy focus placed on quality coffee and friendly service, we soon outgrew our first store. Even with our growth, our goals remain the same. We continue to carefully select the best green coffee beans from around the world and do our own roasting in small batches to ensure the freshest quality brews. Feel free to order by phone or online.
