Hal Berg

 

Hal was was born in Livingston Montana, just over the pass from Bozeman. Hal is a 4th generation Montanan, coming from a legacy of homesteaders. Hal's love for coffee started as a youngster, back in the kitchen with his mom, eating toast dipped in coffee. He started roasting coffee in 1990, experimenting with different roasting techniques and beans.

 

Cristina Berg

 

Cristina was born in Santiago,Chile. She grew up and went to school in San Antonio, Texas, she spent every summer with her family in the Brainerd Lakes area of Minnesota. Life was good, she was the oldest of six children and spent many amazing summers on Gull Lake with her family and grandparents.
 

Cristina furthered her education at the Univerisity of Minnesota, and during the summers she worked for Maddens Resorts on Gull Lake, a full service convention center where she worked her way up to assistant manager of the Inn. Cristina met Hal while they were both working for the resort. Hal convinced her that Montana was the place to be, so they loaded up the truck and moved to Bozeman. In 1992 they opened up their first fresh roasted coffee shop, today they have seven retail locations and an average of eighty employees. It keeps her very busy, but she also has a passion for long distance running and is currently trying some short triatholons and has enjoyed that very much.

 

Marilyn Juntunen

 

Marilyn has been with Rocky Mountain Roasting Co. since June 2001. She has a wonderful husband and three grown children. One of
her favorite pass times is visiting her grandchildren and the other would be quilting. She is our voice on the phone; our customers will stop in the office to put a face with a name from as far away as the east coast and as close as Belgrade. Cameron Bohn

 

Cameron is general manager of Rocky Mountain Roasting Co. Her duties include the oversight of all store managers, hiring of new
employees, and general operations. She has been with the company for over five years. Cameron is a native of California, but has
called Bozeman home since 2001.

 

Matt Ellwein

 

Matt is our warehouse manager. Overseeing any and all goods that come through our warehouse. This is a huge job, with seven stores and shipping orders Matt has his hands full. He is a native of Montana who has been with Rocky Mountain Roasting Company since June of 2006.
